No. A project can begin before the plot is bought, and it is actually a good time to talk: you read a plot better (orientation, slope, access, planning rules) when you already know how you want to live on it.

Sloping plots are common in our area, and a slope is not necessarily a drawback: it can offer a view, different levels and terraces. It can also call for substantial earthworks and retaining structures. Every plot is a case of its own: we come and see your plot, read what it calls for, then what the planning rules allow there.

That depends on you, and it is one of the first questions we will ask you. Some owners want to be involved in every choice; others prefer to concentrate on the major decisions. Some approvals are yours to give in every case, and we will tell you in advance when your presence or your agreement is needed.

We will not give you a timeframe here, because it could not be accurate for your project. The timetable depends on the plot, the design and the processing of planning applications, whose timescales are in neither your hands nor ours. After that, it depends on the build itself. If you have a deadline in mind, mention it when you first get in touch: we will explain the stages and what each one depends on.
